The Kellogg House
|
|
|
This is a house that is across from where I work. It is at the Centennial Heritage Museum, in Santa Ana, Ca. The Kellogg House was designed and built in 1898, by Hiram Kellogg. He was the first civil engineer in Orange County and one of the original settlers of Santa Ana. The house was moved to the present location in 1981 and is now used for hands-on education for children about the Victorian era. 27,000 children visit the house each year. It is in a beautiful park like setting with a rose garden and other restored buildings.
