Great Trip

We are back from our little vacation and it was great. We had a safe journey and a lot of fun. Only one incident marred the fun. Everyone else had left to go up the mountain to go fishing and I was to follow along a little later. But (and no blonde jokes please) I locked the truck with the keys, my cell phone and purse inside. No way to contact anyone and I knew that they would be getting worried about me very soon. So at 6:00AM I am walking from campsite to campsite trying to find some kind soul awake with a cell phone. Well, all is well that ends well. Borrowed a phone, called husband, called AAA club, got car unlocked and was on my way only 2 hours behind schedule. rest of trip wonderful. Gone Fishing
|

|
We are leaving today to go fishing and camping. Saturday is the opening day of trout season in the Sierra Mountains. We try to go every year. It is still very cold up high so we will be camping by this little stream, Taboose Creek, in the valley and then we will drive up to the mountains to fish for the "big ones". Hopefully we will catch some. Everyone take care and I wll "talk to you" soon.

Cat in the Box

Rosie, hiding from me in a box. She is 14 now and loves to hide. This box was sitting at the end of the hall where it is kind of dark and I was really surprised when I looked down and saw her peering up at me.

I did live in California for three years and visited the Sierras as often as I could, which wasn't often enough. Thanks for sharing!
