Alabama Hills
|
|
|
These are photos of the Alabama Hills located near Lone Pine, California. With the Sierra Mountains and Mt. Whitney as a backdrop, many movies, TV shows and commercials were made among these distinctive rock formations over the past 80 years. If you watch any of the old westerns you will recognize these scenes immediately. Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Hopalong Cassidy were just some of the stars that made movies here.
